Mercy's Gateway Ministries

This site was created as a response to many people asking for sermon notes or my thoughts on various topics. Once I decided to create a site, the two most important questions easily became: what is its purpose and what will I name it.

So, Purpose: The purpose of this site is to share my thoughts, notes, and sermons in an attempt to start thoughts and discussions on Spiritual topics.

Name: I spent about two weeks really struggling to come up with the perfect name. As I thought about it, most of my thoughts were about the types of things that I wanted to share. As I tried to put these thoughts in some sort of coherent order, a single theme started coming out: The Mercy of our Lord. The name finally was decided upon as my intent desire for this site is to share God's Love, Grace, and Mercy to anyone willing to open the gates of their hearts to let Him in.

I truly hope that this site becomes a blessing to others. I will never ask for a subscription because I believe that Mercy is something that can't be bought, so how does one put a price on it or gate-keep the Word from those who desire it?
